i've been nominated for an award

...actually can't believe it btw!

at first i thought it was a scam but then i read it & read the name of who nominated me - someone i know, someone who is building a business from the ground up too & tbh i cried (no not perimenopausal hormonal crying) just proper i can't believe she did that for me crying

the thing is this nomination couldn't have come at a better time as basically self doubt was seriously creeping in as to whether going all in on my business had been the right thing to do

honestly it's enough just to be nominated (don't get me wrong i'd love to win for sure, i don’t have a swinging brick for a heart FFS!)

but just knowing that someone took the time to nominate me is HUGE - sounds soppy & cheesy AF - but it's proper true!

that's the bit i'll remember whether i win or not

all this is helping to keep that wee dick of a voice no. 2 in my head gagged for a wee bit!
